  • A striking vintage ring in 9ct yellow gold, c.1940. The centre of the ring holds a deep honey coloured citrine in a compass point, four claw setting. Each claw splits into a trident of gold to add a wonderful design feature and extra security to this buttery yellow stone. Please note that one third of one claw is missing, which is not obvious and does nothing to affect the durability of the piece. Surrounding the citrine is a halo of enamelled gold, the dark black enamel perfectly contrasting the sunshine yellow of the centre stone. The ring is offered in overall good condition despite some tarnishing to the metal and light wear to the enamel, consistent with age.

We offer a ring re-sizing service by our antique specialist for a small fee, starting at £40.

Most of our rings can be resized, but if they can’t we will stipulate this in the description.

As a rule we will only alter a ring by three UK sizes. If you would like to size a ring more than three UK sizes (either up or down) please contact us on a case by case basis and we will try and accommodate you as best as possible.

We do not offer refunds on altered pieces, so please make sure you love your new piece before you purchase.

      Sizing takes approximately 1-2 weeks.
