A fine quality vintage ring in 18ct gold, weighing an impressive 7.5g. The tactile ring has been beautifully hand crafted in the shape of a buckle, a style of ring that gained popularity in the Victorian era and traditionally symbolised binding love. 
 
The timeless ring is set with a hand cut opal to the centre, which has been intricately measured and faceted to fit the ring precisely. The opal is of exceptional quality with the most vibrant play of colour dancing across its surface, giving you every colour of the rainbow on your hand. There are two small chips to the corner of the opal, but these aren’t noticeable and do nothing to detract from the stone’s beauty. Although we have seen a fair few buckle rings in our time, we have never seen one set with an opal in this style, and it was a piece we just couldn’t leave.
