Your perfect everyday ring awaits. A gorgeous ring in a classic Victorian style buttercup setting, which holds the centre stone above the shank of the ring. Buttercup settings come from the Victorian’s fascination with flowers, their scalloped shaped prongs giving the impression of petals surrounding the gemstone to the centre. This more modern example is c.1970-1980 and crafted in 14ct gold, which has been carefully detailed to the shoulders for that Victorian revival look.
The centre stone is a vibrant synthetic sapphire in a desirable cushion cut, which really accentuates the colour and facets of the royal blue gemstone. Offered in excellent vintage condition.
