A beautiful chunky snake ring in richly patinaed 15ct gold, fully hallmarked for 1900. This heavy ring weighs just shy of 8g and coils five times around your finger, finished with its head and tail. The head of the ring is set with a small old mined cut diamond estimated at 0.08ct. The diamond is in good overall condition but does have a small chip to the outer facets and one surface reaching inclusion, both only visible with a loupe. A true collectors piece that would make an exceptional everyday ring.
